About Us​

Ocean Pines Handyman, LLC has been in business since October 2022. We are a full service home repair and handyman service, where we handle everything from assembly and carpentry to installations and painting. Our scope of genius -- what we love to do the most -- includes painting/drywall, popcorn ceiling removal, carpentry, restoration work, and decking. 


We passed the MHIC exam in February 2024. Our MHIC # is 156692, which you can look up on the Maryland Department of Labor website here. Brandt A Witt is the licensed contractor / salesmen, and his MHIC license can be found here.


We are in Good Standing with the State of Maryland, which you can search for here

We will never be the cheapest company for our customers to work with; however, we believe we are the best value. We do not cut corners and quality is at the core of everything we do. We do not rush to complete jobs; our priority is the customer's 100% satisfaction.

Our Values

This is at the core of who we are as a business and as human beings. Integrity is the one thing in life that cannot be bought. We are honest with each other and we are honest with our customers.

Hard Working.
We come from a blue collar family, and we work hard on the job site. This means that we show up on time and we work throughout the day. We don't take breaks, outside of lunch, and we proudly wear our work boots every day. 

Customers will sometimes have questions and we expect you to be able to answer them. Our team communicates via text and email. We expect you to be responsive to us and to our customers. 

Do what you say you are going to do, when you say you are going to do it. It's really that simple. We don't switch job sites until the one we are on is complete.

We are very selective and only hire contractors who truly care about the quality of their craft.

We pay above market and will treat you well. Talk is cheap. Most companies will SAY that they care about their employees. To us, it's action, not words, that matter.  Let me give you an example: we recently paid for a weekend away for our Senior Handyman, Bruce, and his wife, Shelly. Why? Because he worked his ass off and has done amazing work for us and the Ocean Pines Community. If you do great work for us and for our customers, we will reward you. 


We are not your typical "boss." Mike has worked with some awful managers who have exploited him and taken advantage of him. We understand what that feels like.


We will trust that you can get the job done. We will pay you weekly. We will invest in you.

2. If we are interested in hiring you, we will reach out to you within 7 days of applying.

3. Someone from our team will email you to discuss a time to talk on the phone. 

4. If you pass through that test, we will hire you for a day to be on a job site with our crew. We will pay you $200 cash for the day.


5. If you work well with the crew and they give us the go ahead, then we will send you over a W9 and other paperwork to get started.

6. We will book you for your first job with one of our Senior Handyman.
